TSC Studios Booking Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21st September 2026

1. Bookings and payment

1.1 All bookings are made through our online booking system and are confirmed only once payment has been received in full.

1.2 Payment is made up front to secure your booking.

1.3 All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

1.4 Rates quoted at the time of booking are current at that time and may change for future bookings.

1.5 If your card declines or payment fails, your booking is cancelled.

1.6 You must be 18 or over to make a booking.

1.7 Your booking covers the times shown in your confirmation. Setup and pack down must happen within your booked time.

2. Cancellations and reschedules

2.1 Once a booking is confirmed, it is non-refundable. No refunds are issued for cancellations.

2.2 You are welcome to reschedule instead. Email us at enquiries@tscstudios.co.nz at least 48 hours before your booking start time.

2.3 Reschedule requests made less than 48 hours before your booking start time are not accepted, and the payment is forfeited.

2.4 If you do not arrive for your booking and have not contacted us, the full booking fee applies.

2.5 If we need to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund or a reschedule, whichever you prefer.

2.6 If something outside our control prevents your booking from going ahead, including power outages, flooding, extreme weather, natural disasters or government restrictions, no refund is issued. We will reschedule you at no extra cost.

3. Access and timing

3.1 Access details are sent by email ahead of your booking.

3.2 Your booking starts and ends at the times shown in your confirmation, and that time includes setup and pack down. Arriving late does not extend your booking.

3.3 Extra time must be arranged and paid for in advance, and only where the space is available.

3.4 Unapproved overstays are charged at $150 per hour.

3.5 Repeated overstays may result in future bookings being declined.

3.6 Bookings are not transferable. The person named on the booking must be present for the full session, and anyone arriving on a booking that is not in their name will be turned away.

3.7 Bookings cannot be onsold, sublet or transferred to anyone else.

4. Parking

4.1 There is one car park outside the front of Unit 30 for your use.

4.2 We do not take responsibility for parking beyond that space. Anywhere else you choose to park is at your own risk, and we are not liable for fines, towing or any issues that result.

4.3 Please do not block access for neighbouring tenants.

5. Use of the space

5.1 The space is for content creation, podcast recording, photography, filming, meetings, workshops and similar activity.

5.2 Maximum occupancy for a standard booking is 6 people. Larger groups and events are by request, so get in touch before booking.

5.3 You are responsible for everyone you bring into the studio, including your team, clients, guests and contractors.

5.4 The following are not permitted: smoking or vaping, open flames or candles, pyrotechnics, illegal activity, adult content, and anything that damages the building or disturbs neighbouring tenants.

5.5 Confetti and glitter are not permitted without our written approval.

5.6 Please keep noise at a reasonable level. Music and audio should not be audible outside the building.

5.7 Nothing may be stuck, pinned or mounted to walls, windows or fittings without our approval.

5.8 Furniture and equipment must not be removed from the studio without our permission.

5.9 Children aged 10 and under must be actively supervised at all times by a parent or carer aged 17 or over.

5.10 Please make sure the space stays secure during your booking and that the public cannot gain access.

5.11 If anyone becomes disorderly or you have any safety concerns, contact the police immediately, then let us know.

5.12 Pets and animals are permitted only with prior written approval.

6. Rubbish and cleaning

6.1 Please leave the studio as you found it. Move any furniture back into place and take your belongings with you.

6.2 If you have had food or drink in the space, give the tables and benches a wipe down and sweep up anything on the floor.

6.3 All rubbish from food, drinks or catering must be taken with you. Please do not leave it in the studio or use the bins outside the property.

6.4 Cleaning supplies are available in the kitchen.

6.5 Excessive cleaning required after your booking will be charged to you.

7. Equipment, damage and breakages

7.1 Studio equipment is provided as part of your booking and must be used for its intended purpose.

7.2 Please inspect the space and equipment at the start of your session and tell us straight away if anything is already damaged, faulty or unsafe.

7.3 You are responsible for any loss or damage to the studio, its equipment, furniture or fittings caused during your booking, whether by you, your team or your guests.

7.4 Repair or replacement costs will be invoiced to you and are payable within 7 days.

7.5 We reserve the right to hold payment details on file and charge for damage after your session.

7.6 If equipment is faulty or unavailable, we will let you know as soon as we can and offer a partial refund, credit or reschedule where reasonable.

7.7 We may also invoice you for: theft of studio property, costs or losses arising from a breach of these terms, unreturned access cards or keys, callout fees for non-emergency fire alarm activations, and any noise control callouts during your booking.

8. Your property

8.1 Anything you bring to the studio remains your responsibility. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to your equipment or belongings.

8.2 Items left behind will be held for 14 days and then disposed of.

9. Liability

9.1 You enter and use the studio at your own risk.

9.2 You are responsible for the conduct and wellbeing of everyone you bring with you.

9.3 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the studio, including loss of income, missed deadlines or lost content.

9.4 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply.

9.5 This agreement does not create a landlord and tenant relationship between us.

9.6 We recommend you hold your own public liability and equipment insurance.

10. Content and media

10.1 You own the content you create in the studio.

10.2 You are responsible for making sure everyone appearing in your content has consented to being filmed or photographed.

10.3 We may photograph or film the space for our own marketing. We will always ask before including you, your team or your work.

10.4 Tagging us is welcome but never required.

11. Health and safety

11.1 You must follow all health and safety requirements while onsite, including any instructions we give you.

11.2 You must comply with all relevant laws, regulations and bylaws, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, the Smoke Free Environments Act 1990, and the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

11.3 If you plan to serve alcohol, check the Auckland Council website to see whether your event needs a special licence. Arranging that is your responsibility.

11.4 You are responsible for the health and safety of everyone attending your booking or event.

11.5 A first aid kit is located under the kitchen sink.

11.6 Please report any accident, injury or near miss to us as soon as possible.

11.7 Please do not attend if you are unwell.

11.8 Emergency exits and equipment must be kept clear at all times.

12. Privacy

12.1 We collect personal information when you make a booking or get in touch, including your name, contact details and payment information.

12.2 We use that information to manage your booking, keep in touch with you, and run the studio.

12.3 Your information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy policy, available at [link].

13. Resident memberships

13.1 Resident membership terms are set out separately in your membership agreement.

13.2 Unused resident hours do not roll over month to month.

14. General

14.1 We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one published at the time of your booking.

14.2 We may refuse a booking, cancel a booking, refuse entry, or ask anyone to leave the studio at our discretion, particularly where these terms have been breached.

14.3 These terms are binding on both parties and anyone acting on their behalf.

14.4 Any changes to these terms must be agreed in writing by both parties.

14.5 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
